US-based technology firm Microsoft has recently announced to end its support for Windows XP after 13 years of providing services to its users. The company has now decided to roll out first major update for Windows 8.1. The update is currently available at no cost to users who are already using Microsoft’s latest Windows 8.1 operating system. Apart from bringing new enhancements and features, the update will also result in improving support for keyboard and mouse.

Microsoft has been quoted saying on its blog post that “The Windows 8.1 Update delivers a collection of refinements designed to give people a more familiar and convenient experience across touch, keyboard and mouse inputs. It also brings improvements for business customers, really accelerates opportunity for developers and enables device makers to offer lower cost devices.”
