Taking a deep plunge into the competitive tablet market, Micromax has unveiled a 7-inch Android tablet, called the FunBook Talk. Costing Rs. 7,249, this tab is powered by 1 GHz processor and runs Android ICS operating system.
With this FunBook Talk tab, users will get access to 3G using a dongle via its USB 2.0 port. An affordable solution, this tab comes equipped with SIM calling for making voice calls.
Fifth in the series of FunBook, this tablet will come with a 1 GHz Cortex A8 processor and has 512 MB of RAM. This 7-inch budget Android tablet will have capacitive LCD screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. There’s a 0.3 megapixel camera at the front for making video calls.
Micromax is offering a 2800 mAh battery in the Funbook Talk, with a talktime of 5 hours and a standby time of 112 hours. The device has 4 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 32 GB with an external micro SD card.
With this tab, Micromax enters the competitive market with other budget tabs including HCL Me tab U1, Zync Z990, and iBerry Auxus AX02.
