While we’ve been keeping busy looking for the latest rumors about Apple and Samsung’s upcoming devices, a leaked image shows what looks like a new device from LG. The team at @evleaks has posted the image of a new LG smartphone, which they are speculating could be either the new Nexus 5 or possibly even the Optimus G2.
The phone has a large display, possibly even 5.5-inches like the Optimus G Pro. And the edges of the device are curved, reminding us of the Nexus 4’s design. Now, the Optimus G and Nexus 4 featured similar designs, so you can imagine why we’re confused about what this image could be.
According to the latest rumors, the Optimus G2 is powered by an amazing 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and will feature a 1080p display of unknown size. But we doubt if LG could release the G2 so soon, given that its flagship Optimus G Pro is just about hitting the market. The G2 could also have a 13 MP rear camera and a 2.1 MP front-facing one.
