Many rumors are doing the round about the upcoming Nexus 8 phone release date and it is likely to arrive in April 2014. As the date approaches, sellers are promoting the Nexus 7 at attractive prices, such as the US-based telecom major Verizon, which has started selling it at a price of $250.

The pricing introduced by Verizon is lesser by a staggering $100 as the identical Nexus 7 2013 featuring LTE access and internal memory storage of 32 GB is priced at $350 on Google Play Store. It has taken quite a long time for Verizon to eventually include the Nexus 7, built by Asus, which raises a rather pertinent question that will this move of price cut signal for a more dynamic and action packed slate from the search giant.

Industry watchers are ready to suggest that selling devices at discounted prices and promoting its easy availability are only signs that the manufacturer wants to clear out the outstanding inventories so as to make way for new stock of the latest device that will be made available soon. And in this case, it is clear that Verizon Nexus 7 is being offered at attractive prices so that Asus and Google can exhaust their existing inventory as the Nexus 8 release date is around the corner.

There are also rumors that the Nexus 8 will be larger than the present Nexus 7.
