The Galaxy S3 has 8MP camera, while the Galaxy S5 will be equipped with a 16MP camera featuring hybrid autofocus system and advanced high dynamic range.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 features a standard home button, while the Galaxy S5 does not have this feature and is installed with a finger reader.

Samsung Galaxy S3 is powered by an aging Snapdragon S4 Plus dual-core chip processor, while the new smartphone is likely to run on Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor and an octo-core Exynos processor. The upgraded processor would offer its users a convenience of multitasking and better gaming experience than the Galaxy S3.
