Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo Vs Galaxy Note 2: Which Phablet Will Shake Things Up?

 

While we await the release of Samsung Galaxy S5 with bated breath, leaks have gone viral revealing a display of 5.2 inches On the other hand, the company has Galaxy Note 2 available at a price of approximately Rs30,000. We will now compare the two gadgets on the basis of their features in order to get a clear picture of which one to buy and which one can be left out.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo is available in a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen having a pixel resolution of 720 x 1,280, while the Galaxy Note 2 is also having a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen with 720 x 1,280 pixel resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo has a dimension of 148.4 x 77.4 x 8.6 mm with a weight of 162.5 grams, while the Galaxy Note 2 is available with a specification of 151.1 x 80.5 x 9.4 mm dimensions and 183 grams of weight.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo has been equipped with a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex A7 and dual-core 1.7-GHz Cortex A15 processor and Exynos 5260 chipset. It has 16GB of internal memory expandable up to 64GB using a microSD card. The device runs on the Android platform along with the Jelly Bean operating system and 2GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Galaxy Note 2 is available with a 1.6-GHz quad-core Cortex A9 processor and Exynos 4412 Quad chipset. The device has three variants of 16, 32 and 64 GB internal memory, expandable up to 64 GB with a microSD card. It also operates on the Android platform along with the Jelly Bean and 2GB of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo has a very good camera quality with an 8MP primary camera along with autofocus and LED flash as well as a 2MP secondary camera. On the other hand, the Galaxy Note 2 is equally good when it comes to camera as it is also equipped with a 8MP primary camera with autofocus and LED flash as well as a 1.9MP secondary camera.

The battery of both devices is also very good and provides talk time of more than 15 hours on 3G. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo is powered by a 3,100mAh Li-ion battery, while the Galaxy Note 2 is also having a 3,100mAh Li-ion battery.
