The two tantalizing models — Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Sony Xperia Z have much in common as far as their popularity is concerned. They are both power packed models which seem to agonizingly out-of-reach. The large screen handset from Samsung compares well with the Sony Xperia Z –and in more ways than one.

Weight and size

Rated as one of the most slender devices in the industry, the Sony Xperia Z sizes up to 7.9mm in depth and tips the scale to figures as low as 146g. In contrast the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 boasts of a weight of 180g along with a girth of 9.4mm. It has a diagonal screen measurement of approximately 5.5in.
