Design and Features:
iPad air, perhaps the most appropriate name has been chosen for this slimmer and lighter profile tablet by Apple. Its overall volume is lesser than the previous version tablets. Google Nexus 10 2 on the other hand also has been trimmed down and weighs lesser than the first generation Nexus 10. Lenovo Yoga 10 at 610g weighs lesser than Nexus 10 2.
iPad air undoubtedly is the most portable and easier to carry out of the three, with amazing design aspects. You won’t even want to buy an iPad cover, as that would just stop you from flaunting the beautiful aluminium rear of the tablet. One side of the Lenovo Yoga 10 has a section like a tube, which gives a grip base and also acts as a hinge for the tablet. The design of Lenovo is really eye-catching, with nice integration of metals around the display and the overall body.
iPad air has retina display and a resolution of 2048 X 1536p, with 9.7-inch screen and a pixel density of 264ppi. Nexus 10 2 has 10.1-inch screen 2560 X 1600p resolution with pixel density close to 300ppi, which will definitely give Apple iPad air a run for its money. Lenovo Yoga 10 has 10.1-inch screen with 1280 X 800p resolution and pixel density of 149ppi, perhaps that is why it is priced lower than the other two.
Google’s new tablet will sport a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU for better processing of the device. The all new Android 4.4 KitKat will operate the system. The fuel for iPad air is the 64-bit dual-core A7 processor chip with M7 coprocessor. Lenovo Yoga 10 is powered by 1.2GHz MediaTek MT8389 Quad Core processor and 1GB RAM.
It seems the battle of Nexus 10 2 and iPad air is entering a level playing field
