The iPhone 6 release date is yet to be confirmed by Apple but it has been confirmed that the new phone will sport a 4.7 inch screen. Although bigger than the previous models it mighy not hook up to phablets like the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
Insider sources have confirmed that Apple will be entering into the market for jumbo sized phones this year with many experts speculating that it might be a 5.6 inch giant. Speculations are rife that Apple may devise a new name for this gadget.
Apple says that the reason for staying within the relatively small 4.7 inch range is that it wants to optimize the one hand navigation but increase size of the screen. The release date for its upcoming phablet has been shifted to the latter half of 2014.
The casing will have the usual glass cover and metal exterior. Apple’s 5.6 inch phablet is already in production and will most likely be released before the iPhone 6. As of now, the new device has been dubbed as an Apple experiment that will include features and specifications way different from what we can expect from Apple phones.
