2014 is likely to be an eventful year for Apple as the company is expected to launch several high-end devices for its consumers worldwide. Apple is scheduled to release its next flagship smartphone the iPhone 6 as well as the iPad Air 2 sometime in 2014. Meanwhile, if recent reports are to be believed, the company would also release new iPad models.
There has been plenty of news that Apple is scheduled to launch iPhone 6 in two different screen sizes; however, nothing can be confirmed until any official announcement.
A report by BGR has mentioned that Apple would be having the two versions of the iPhone 6 – 4.7 and 5.5-inch. Steve Milvunovich, a USB analyst, has claimed that Apple is working on two separate versions although it will release only one version this fall. The 4.7-inch version is expected to be launched in August or September 2014, while the 5.5 variant may or may not make its market entry at the same time.
The new iPhone 6 is rumored to be launched in around September or October 2014, according to iDigitalTimes. However, it was earlier believed that the smartphone will be launched in June 2014 at Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers’ Conference.
Apple has so far launched five iPad versions, and has continuously worked towards refreshing the line every year. Several reports have emerged online regarding the release of a second iPad Air. However, Apple is still to make an official announcement over it.
