Google Nexus 5 Price vs Google Nexus 7 Features: What Would You Go For?

The Google Nexus 5 and Google Nexus 7, both these gadgets have their own importance in a number of ways. While Nexus 7 was released in the month of July with T-Mobile carrier, Nexus 5 was released in November with carriers T-Mobile, Verizon and AT &T.

With regards of weight of the devices, Nexus 7 is 299gms and Nexus 5 is just 130gms in weight. Google nexus 5 comes with 5 inches IPS LCD screen with resolution of 1080x 1920 pixels and Google nexus 7 sports IPS LCD 7 inches screen with 1920 x 12000 pixels. Unlike the other 7inches gadgets, nexus 7 is cool to hold in hand and makes watching videos an enjoyable experience over the 5-inches screen of Nexus 5.

There is a big difference in the camera of both the devices too. Nexus 5 sports an 8 MP camera with LED, BSI, Auto focus, Panorama, HDR, Digital Zoom, ISO control and more with 1.3MP camera in the front. And, on the other hand, Nexus 7 sports a 5MP camera with Auto Focus, HD recording LED with 1.2MP in the front.

With regards to the processor, Nexus 5 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 quad core processor clocked at 2260MHz with Adreno 330 and Nexus 7 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 Quad core clocked at 1500MHz with Adreno 320. Both the devices feature RAM of 2GB. Nexus 5 comes decked with a ROM of 16GB without any expandable storage and Nexus 7 features a ROM of 32GB without any expandable storage. Google Nexus 5 runs on Android 4.4 and Google nexus 7 runs on Android KitKat.

While Nexus 5 was released before Nexus 7, surely Nexus 7 has made more raves in the minds of the people in today’s time, but at a price of $349, Nexus 5 is surely not a bad deal!
