To build up the anticipation and give us a better idea of the device, certain reports have revealed pictures of Google’s upcoming Nexus 7 2 that shows it to be an updated and refresh variant of its predecessor.
This 7-inch Nexus 7 2 holds a clear 1080p LCD display and sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with 1.2-megapixel camera at the front. The smartphone boasts two speakers, placed in two locations, one at the back and the other by the USB port.
Sporting a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, the Nexus 7 2 holds 4GB of DDR3L RAM, with storage choices of 16GB or 32GB.
As per reports, the 16GB version will cost $229 USD (AU$248) while the 32GB will run you $269 (AU$291).
Considering the possible flaws, memory could be an issue in this device, just like the existing Nexus 7. Coming out sans the expandable storage choices like the predecessor, it is unlikely that Google is trying to fix the issues in this latest device.
The Nexus 7 2 is speculated to hit the market this August. Also watch out for July 24th as Google is expected to spill more beans on the device.
