HTC is expected to soon launch its flagship and much awaited smartphone, HTC One 2 M8, which is the successor to the award-winning HTC One. The M8 codename first came out in July 2013, and it is fully justified as the codename for the 2013 HTC One was M7.
There have been lots of rumors regarding is looks and hardware specifications since the news of its release is out. We have been regularly updating our clients about the smartphone so that they have some idea of how the phone will look like on its launch day.
HTC is scheduled to conduct a launch event in London and New York on March 25 2014 to announce the new HTC One. The company has formally sent invitations for the event where the M8 is likely to be officially announced. HTC tweeted the news saying “The best is about to get better”.
HTC One 2 is expected to be equipped with a 5-inch full HD display, having a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080 and pixel density of 440ppi. The smartphone would be powered by a quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 GPU, 2 GB RAM and LTE connectivity.
Additionally, the smartphone will be available with a high resolution camera along with two camera sensors and a dual-tone LED flash. HTC One 2 is rumored to come with a 2900mAh battery and would run on Android 4.4 KitKat.
