Three UK Starts Offering Copper Gold Samsung Galaxy S5, Ending Vodafone Exclusivity

UK carrier Three has started providing the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S5 in the Copper Gold version on its website and in its retail stores. The gold color option was with Vodafone on an exclusive basis when the flagship smartphone was launched in the UK. This is good news for Samsung fans as they now have more options to buy the Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone in Copper Gold color. Three UK is retailing the Gold Samsung Galaxy S5 at an upfront payment of £69, while the monthly plans start at a monthly price of £38.

Interested customers have the option to get either all-you-can eat data and 600 minutes at this price, or can also get all-you-can-eat minutes and 2GB of data, with a standard contract of two years. The carrier is also offering all-you-can-eat data and all-you-can-eat minutes with another Galaxy S5 contract plan, but it has an increased monthly price of up to £41, with the same upfront cost of £69.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is equipped with a 5.1-inch super AMOLED full HD display having a pixel resolution of 1920x1080p and a pixel density of 440 ppi. The smartphone is powered by Android v4.4.2 KitKat operating system, Exynos Octa-core processor (1.9GHz quad-core+ 1.3GHz quad-core), 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage that is expandable up to 128GB.

The smartphone comes with lots of other advanced features, such as water-and-dust resistant IP67 certifications, finger-print sensor, heart rate monitor sensor, 16.0 megapixel rear camera with super fast 0.3-second auto-focus, 2.1 megapixel front camera with full HD video recording and 4K video recording.

Additionally, the device has 2800mAh battery with ultra power saving mode that offers talk time of up to 21 hours and standby mode for 390 hours. The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a weight of 145 grams.
