Sony Xperia M2 Aqua Likely To Have Waterproof Capabilities

The soon-to-be-released mid-range smartphone of Sony, Xperia M2 Aqua, is likely to feature water-resistant capabilities. The smartphone is largely being seen as the successor of the Xperia M2. The smartphone is also likely to be launched in two different variants, according to the listing of the model numbers PM-0770 and PM-0771 at the FCC database, which belongs to Sony.Sony Xperia Z1 Compact

The upcoming Xperia M2 Aqua is expected to be very much similar to the original Xperia M2 which was launched earlier in 2014. The two devices are also likely to be equipped with similar dimensions and design. The Xperia M2 Aqua would also have the specifications that would be similar to the original Xperia M2.

The Sony Xperia M2 would be equipped with a screen size of 4.8 inches with qHD TFT LCD display, and it would be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The smartphone would also sport 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage capacity. Some of the other rumored capabilities of the smartphone include an 8-megapixel rear camera, a VGA front shooter, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and a 2,300mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone offers several options including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, ANT+, NFC and GPS.

The Xperia M2 Aqua model is most probably to have only single-SIM support.
