Samsung Galaxy S5 Preorder Starts: To Be Priced Between $850-$900, Major Features Revealed

Top 5 Reasons why You Should Upgrade to Samsung Galaxy S5Tech giant Samsung has now started taking pre-orders for its fifth-generation flagship android smartphone, Galaxy S5 in India. The smartphone is scheduled to be launched on 11 April, 2014 and orders can now be placed at the company’s official website and Amazon. The delivery of Samsung Galaxy S5 is due to begin in the second week of April.

However, the company hasn’t yet revealed the final price of their latest flagship smartphone. It is expected to be between $850 to $900, as hinted by the company itself. Meanwhile, Samsung is also offering cash back of 15 percent, if paid via credit card during the payment of the balance amount.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is to be equipped with a 5.1-inch super AMOLED full HD display having a pixel resolution of 1920x1080p and a pixel density of 440 ppi. The smartphone will be powered by Android v4.4.2 KitKat operating system, Exynos Octa-core processor (1.9GHz quad-core+ 1.3GHz quad-core), 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage that is expandable up to 128GB.

The smartphone will also come with lots of other exciting and advanced features, such as water-and-dust resistant IP67 certifications, finger-print sensor, heart rate monitor sensor, 16.0 megapixel rear camera with super fast 0.3-second auto-focus, 2.1 megapixel front camera with full HD video recording and 4K video recording.

Additionally, the device has 2800mAh battery with ultra power saving mode that offers talk time of up to 21 hours and standby mode for 390 hours. The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a weight of 145 grams and will be available in Charcoal Black, Shimmery White, Electric Blue and Copper Gold colors.
