Meizu MX5 Review: A Premium Looking Phone On Affordable Price

Chinese Smartphone maker Miezu has launched it flagship Meizu MX5 in India. Carrying a price tag of Rs. 11,999, the phone comes loaded with some noteworthy features. It boasts of a full metal body, full HD-display and a fingerprint scanner.

Full metal body is sure a plus for those who want a premium looking phone for a lesser price. What impresses about MX5 is its sexy back. The metallic rear brings it at par with iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy 6.Snapdeal will be the exclusive partner for Meizu

 

The phone comes with a physical home button, which has been placed just below the 5.5-inch screen. MX5’s finger print scanner feature gives it an edge over other phones in the segment. It makes the identification faster and is also a breeze to use. The scanner can also be used to encode apps and documents.

 The 5.5-inch super AMOLED full HD screen has the pixel density of 401 ppi. It also comes with power button and volume rocker on the right panel and the Micro USB port on the bottom panel. The phone runs on Flyme 4.5 UI based on Android 5.0 Lollipop and comes packed with 5 home screen pages.

What really makes us vouch for MX5 is its responsive screen.  It makes for great touch experience and makes multitasking easy.  The 3GB RAM and MediaTek’s 64-bit Helio X10 octa-core processor (Cortex-A53) clocked at 2.2GHz adds to great experience.

Coming to the camera, we tried taking some pictures and  it worked wonders even in low light. The camera is 20.7-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX220 Exmor RS BSI sensor and yes you have a laser autofocus in store.

MX5 will be launched in three variants 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. It is dual sim.
