The launch of LG Optimus G2 will be little more exciting as the Korean company has decided to stretch out the screen of the same with another two-tenths of an inch. Now the new version will boast a full HD screen larger than 5-inches.
Some reports also suggest that the device would feature volume buttons on the back along with a 13-megapixel camera. This advanced camera feature would be able to place LG Optimus G2 in the top-line handsets in the market and may go ahead Samsung Galaxy S4.
G2 is packed with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and the Qualcomm 800 series processor. LG is also supposed to be working on edge-to-edge display and a smart feature where the phone would be on with always-on voice commands.
These specs and features together will make the launch of the smartphone a little more newsworthy. However, with the release date still not announced, we expect to know more about Optimus G2 in the LG’s press event which is likely to be held on August 7. And may be, we can see a G2 in the event followed by its release soon.
