There have been several reports in the past regarding the features and specifications of Apple’s much awaited smartphone, iPhone 6. And now the Chinese media (via GforGames) has claimed to have the battery details of both the versions of the upcoming smartphone.
The 4.7-inch version is likely to have a battery measuring between 1,800 and 1,900 mAh, compared to the 1,570 mAh batteries equipped in both iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S. Meanwhile, the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 would be reportedly having a 2,500 mAh battery, which is quite not good when compared to a 3,000 mAh battery in the 5.5-inch LG G3 and a 3,200 mAh battery unit in the 5.7-inch Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
Earlier, Chinese web portal Tencent (via GforGames) has claimed that US-based tech giant Apple is expected to launch its iPhone 6, on Friday, September 19 2014. The Chinese source said that it has received the information from inside sources familiar with the matter.
The report also revealed that the smartphone would be available in the 32GB and 64GB internal storage capacities, indicating that there will be no 16GB model. The 32GB model would carry a price tag of USD846, while the 64GB version would cost USD1,008.
The upcoming iPhone 6 is likely to be equipped with Apple’s next OS version, iOS 8, and it would be more scratch resistant as compared to the screens of the current iPhones. The smartphone is also anticipated to sport several other features, including 64-bit mobile processor, a clock speed of 2.6GHz and improved RAM. Additionally, it would have an advanced version of the camera along with optical image stabilization.
