Call Drop Issues: Indian Government Working To Sort Out The Issue

The government of India—specifically, the Department of Telecom (DoT),  has asked Trai to look into the issue of call dropping and has also orders quick routed action to curtail the same. To begin with, Trai has been directed to enquire into the existing infrastructure as well as the capacity vested in telecommunication players. This is considered mandatory for a fair assessment of what actually causes the issue of call drop.

In fact, DoT has directed Trai to look into whether the operators in the telecom sector actually have the needful infrastructure for offering seamless services to customers.
