LG G3-based Google Nexus 6 Not To Be Released In 2014

LG has denied rumours that the company is developing Google Nexus 6 smartphone based on its newly-launched LG G3. This was said by LG Communications Director Ken Hong during an interview with Dutch publication Draad BreukHTC Nexus 8 Likely To Be Released Next Month

The Google Nexus 5 smartphone has been designed on the platform of the LG G2, therefore there has been rumours that the Google Nexus 6 smartphone will be launched in 2014, based on the current LG G3 flagship.

However, this is not the first time that LG has denied news that later turn out to be accurate.

The LG G3 has been launched as a real powerhouse, with positioning itself as one of the most powerful Android handsets available in the market, equipped with top-notch specifications and features.

The LG G3 smartphone has been equipped with a range of latest and advanced features and specifications, including Qualcomm’s latest quad-core mobile processor as well as a high screen resolution. The smartphone also has a screen size of 5.5 inches apart from a Quad HD (QHD) resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Additionally, the smartphone is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor under the hood, clocked at 2.5GHz and paired with a hefty 3GB of RAM. It sports a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter. The next-generation smartphone is operated on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
