Finally, the Kindle Fire HD will be in hands of Canadian customers as Amazon has confirmed the selling of second generation Kindle Fire HD to Canadian customers from June 13. Though Amazon launched the first generation of tablets in 2011, it was not unleashed in Canada then.
With both the 7- inch and the 8.9-inch models, Amazon has made the Kindle Fire HD available for buyers in over 170 countries across the globe from June 13.
According to Dave Limp, the Vice President of Amazon Kindle, the Kindle Fire HD is the best selling gadget for Amazon and also easily available for customers across the globe. The new Kindle model boasts of not only advanced hardware but also has great email, browsing and excellent customer service. He goes a little further in calling it a gadget of today as the same is incomparable in terms of price too.
It is indeed good news for Canadian customers as they can now easily access online entertainment through the latest launch of Kindle Fire HD after tasting the basic Kindle e-reader and the Paperwhite models. The Fire HD 7-inch model has 16/32 GB storage options with a price tag of $214 and $244 whereas the 8.9-inch model with the same storage options is priced at $284 and $314.The Kindle Fire HD model is going to give competitions to the leader iPad but would likely going to face competitions from brands like Google and Samsung in Canada for some time.
