New rumors regarding the technical specifications of iPhone 6 have surfaced online disclosed by Sonny Dickson, who is an Australian teen. He predicted pretty accurate details about the release of iPhone 5s also before its launch. This time round, he expects the upcoming Apple flagship smartphone iPhone 6 to be equipped with a much thinner body, powerful processor and a higher pixel density screen.
Dickson has been quoted on Twitter as saying that the thickness of iPhone 6 would be 0.22 inches, measuring 5.59mm, which is just 0.04mm thicker than what is termed as the world’s slimmest handset, the Gionee Elife S5.5.
He also revealed that the upcoming smartphone would be available with an ultra-retina screen, which will offer pixel density of 389 pixels per inch. He tweeted that the new Apple A8 processor will run at 2.6GHz.
Along with these interesting details, Dickson also tweeted a disclaimer that the revealed specifications may be the real thing but one has to wait for the official launch in order to know what exactly the device would offer to its consumers.
According to previous rumors, the upcoming Apple smartphone would boast a bezel-less display. It would also be equipped with a larger 8-megapixel camera sensor and an aperture size of f/2.0, which is much better than the iPhone 5’s f/2.4 and iPhone 5s’ f/2.2.
The smartphone would also be equipped with optical image stabilisation as well as a CMOS sensor manufactured by Sony.
