iPhone 6 Release Date – Bigger Model To Be Released Next Year

There have been speculations since long that Apple’s new flagship smartphone iPhone 6 is scheduled to be released either at the WWDC event in June or after a few months in September. Now a new report has appeared online that showed that Apple would soon release the smaller variant of the smartphone, while the larger display variant would be launched in 2015.

Apple is reportedly working on two variants of the iPhone 6 variants – 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models. UBS Managing Director Steve Milunovich has said that the 4.7-inch variant is likely to be released either in August or September, while the 5.5-inch model may or may not be released at the same time. The 5.5-inch variant would be available at a higher price tag as compared to the smaller model.

Martin Hajek has showed a new concept design of iPhone 6 through an online video in collaboration with iCulture.nl, according to App Advice. The concept design has square feature with larger screen size and is thinner than iPhone 5s.

Meanwhile, designer Sam Beckett has recently released a mock up design of iPhone 6 through a 1.37 minute long video. The video showed that the smartphone would be having a larger screen size and would be 9% thinner than its predecessor. The device was seen in 4.7 display with a pixel resolution of 1920×1080 and pixel density of 468ppi as well as 10MP sensor with an aperture of f/1.8.

South Korean brokerage KDB Daewoo Securities claimed that the upcoming iPhone is likely to boast a 4.7/4.8 inch or 5.5 inch screen size with a 1920x1080p (440ppi) or a 2272×1280 (510ppi) display respectively along with the A8 chip (64-bit) and iOS 7.2.
