HTC M7 Vs Samsung Galaxy S3 Vs Apple iPhone 5: Which Of These Is The Champion With An Unbeatable Combination?

Just when you thought the real battle was between the flagship devices from Samsung and Apple, HTC also jumped into the game with its amazing M7 smartphone. Even though HTC hasn’t yet provided any confirmation, we’re hearing many rumors about the Taiwanese phone manufacturer working on the M7 or Magnificent Seven for 2013. So, why is it that we think it could make life more difficult for the Galaxy S3 and the iPhone 5?

HTC M7: We’d initially heard that the M7 would feature a 5-inch display, but now we’re expecting it to be just 4.7-inches. Even though this makes it smaller than the Galaxy S3’s 4.8-inch screen, it is expected to have full HD capability, producing images at 1080p. Powering the M7 is a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor and 2 GB of RAM, making it the most powerful among these 3 phones. We can also see the M7 running Android Jelly Bean 4.2 with a new version of HTC Sense overlay. In terms of camera, we hear that the M7 would have a 13 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front-facing camera, both of which would have full HD 1080 capabilities.

Samsung Galaxy S3: Samsung’s flagship bestseller features a 4.8-inch display with a 1280X720 pixel resolution. While it is comparable with the M7’s display, its tech specs lag far behind. The Galaxy S3 is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and 2 GB of RAM. Even in terms of camera power, its 8 MP rear camera and 1.9 MP front-facing camera can’t be a match to that of the M7’s cameras. The Galaxy S3 runs on Android 4.1, which is older than the OS we would get to see on the M7.

Apple iPhone 5: Apple’s latest iPhone failed to make a grand mark in the smartphone market, and will find it even harder when the M7 also launches. With its far from satisfactory 4-inch display having a 1136X640 pixel resolution, it lost out to its competition during 2012. Even in terms of power, the iPhone 5’s 1.3 GHz dual-core Apple A6 processor and 1 GB RAM seems inadequate in comparison with its Android competitors. The iPhone 5 runs on iOS 6, which is a lot smoother than the previous versions, but at the end of the day, does get a little bit boring given that nothing much has actually changed, unlike in the case of Android. While its 8 MP rear camera is comparable with the Galaxy S3, its front-facing camera has a resolution of just 1.2 MP.
