Here Is Everything You Need To Know About Aakash 3

Aakash 3 is all set to get rolled out in the month of February. And before this third in the series tablets see the light of day Researchers and professors at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay are putting their heart and soul to enhance the quality of this tablet by adding new and interesting apps.

It is expected that around 50 lakh Aakash 3 tablets will be released at an affordable cost. The genius minds who are engaged in creating a tablet are putting their best foot forward to add the native feel to the product.

“Our aim is to imbibe the usage of tablets in the education system and create an ecosystem for this. We have distributed Aakash tablets to 250 colleges across the country and asked them to come up with newer ways to use the device,” told Deepak B Phatak, committee member and a professor in IIT- Bombay’s Department of Computer Science and Engineering to TOI.

 

According to Pathak, Aakash 3 may have a high-speed processor and would allow both both Linux and Android operating systems. There are chances it may have a SIM slot which would add the communication ability to it.

It is likely that the tablet may also have an app which can measure your pulse rate. It will also have a larger distribution and servicing system so that owners can get their tablets repaired locally.

The most recent version of Aakash was launched by Pranab Mukherjee.
