Amazon is kicking into the holiday spirit by offering a full week of Halloween deals on apps in its store for smartphones. Starting today and all the way till the 31st of October, the Amazon Appstore is giving out ‘Amazon Free App of the Day’, including apps with the Halloween theme, like The Haunt and It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.
The first free app is Witches’ Brew: Halloween Potion Making Fun! – a goofy game that lets players collect ingredients for making spells. The game features 100 levels, HD graphics and tilt control play capabilities as well.
Friday’s app is Slashing Pumpkins – a game that will remind you of your favorite Fruit Ninja, except in this one, there are only pumpkins to slice through. On Saturday, the free app on offer is Halloween Mahjong, featuring holiday themed tiles and backgrounds to get you in the mood for tricks and treats!
Sunday comes with a game called Wonder Witches – a game involving collection of potions to get magical powers, flying on broomsticks past the moon, and getting spooked. Face Frenzy, a game where users have to help make up Joe’s and Jane’s faces using cream, lip balm, and other accessories, is a highly engaging game. And on Monday, Amazon’s offering the Monster Edition of this game free for users.
The Haunt is an adventure game filled with puzzling twists and spooky tales to get the users completely intrigued and well, haunted. It’s filled with many mini-games connected by an interesting storyline and is available free on Tuesday. Finally, on Wednesday, Amazon’s offering The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, a game that usually costs $3.99 free of cost. Tricks and treats abound throughout the game, and to keep you company is Charlie Brown, Lucy, Snoopy, and the whole gang.
