Relief for those fretting about Grand Theft Auto Online’s multiple issues – Rockstar releases an update to fix issues with PlayStation 3 and one for for Xbox 360 to follow suit as soon as possible.
The multiplayer mode that was launched earlier this week for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 has been causing multiple issues for users like slow load time and being stuck in the free-roam mode with no mission being available. The biggest disappointment has been that players have been completely unable to access the Online session at all, with an error message showing either “Rockstar Cloud Servers Unavailable” or “Failed to Host a GTA Online Session”.
Apart from the usual, another issue was detected that was preventing players from getting through the first tutorial mission across both platforms. While only a handful of players have been able to get through this with repeated retries, the company says it is working on unblocking this for everyone soon
Sources quote that Rockstar was able to get everybody access to GTA Online and things are running smoothly. For beter runnig, they have disabled the option of purchasable GTA$ cash packs.
However, players can keep on earning GTA$ by pulling off Jobs and other profitable gameplay activities instead.
