Microsoft is making way for Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL finally and is slashing prices from its erstwhile hit models– the Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL. The price for these smartphones in USA on Expansys has significantly dropped to $175 and $200 for the 640 and 640 XL versions respectively. This means that the discounts stand at 17 and 31 per cent for both handsets. We also sniffed on Expansys that Microsoft’s Lumia 640 XL has been a consistent best seller and has also toppled sales for even the best Android phones listed on the website.
This slash comes after the prices had been dropped over a single weekend for the Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL. The handsets have been huge success stores thanks to presence of Zeiss camera lens that allows it to sap better than the premium models iPhone 6+ or even the Samsung Galaxy S.

In addition, the handsets also offer a beefy battery that lasts more than two days even after pretty much decent levels of usage and browsing. A report from Argus Insights states, “In the midst of shifting away from Nokia branding, Microsoft saw an increase in delight from the few consumers reviewing their Microsoft Lumia 640 handsets, crowning Microsoft as the most delightful of the quarter.”
