It has been confirmed that Nexus 6 would release in the later part of this year. However, the specifications are not disclosed yet. Here is a sneak peek what customers can expect based on recent speculations.
This device is expected to be manufactured by the Korean tech giant, LG, thereby making it the third Nexus made by the company in three consecutive years. Nexus 6 is probably going to be a lightweight spin-off of the most anticipated LG G3 will similar hardware specifications as well. However, as far as the OS is concerned, Nexus 6 would have Android Vanilla.
Reports say that Nexus 6 may not have few key features of LG G3 like finger print scanner. While LG G3 is supposed to have a 20MP camera, Google’s Nexus 6 may have a camera of 13MP.
Another report doing the rounds claims that this time Google would let HTC manufacture Nexus 6 and thus the smartphone would resemble its flagship One M8. This would be the second time for HTC to produce a Nexus device after 2008, when it made the first Nexus smartphone. Other speculated features of Nexus 6 include Full HD 1080×1920 display, screen size smaller than 5.5 inches, 2 GB RAM, upto 32 GB built-in memory storage, Snapdragon 801 processor.
Depending on the manufacturer, it can be decided what kind of a smartphone Nexus 6 is going to be. For instance, if HTC manufactures the phone then it would give a tough competition to the likes of Moto X2(X+1), another Android Vanilla based phone, Samsung S5, Xperia Z2 and iPhone 5s.
