Following Samsung’s launch of the Chromebook Series 3, Google has now unveiled its C7 Chromebook. Google says this Chromebook can boot up in 18 seconds and resume from the sleep mode pretty quickly.
Users no longer have to worry about updating their systems to keep them current – it happens automatically in the Chromebook. The device offers WiFi connectivity and is extremely portable weighing just over 3 pounds. It’s just one inch thick, making it easy to slip it into a backpack or a purse, when on the move. Users can create multiple accounts on their Chromebooks and get 100 GB of free storage space on Google Drive for the first two years. The cloud offers great security so that even if your device get lost or stolen, your data will still remain accessible.
Users can look for a variety of apps on the Chrome Web Store and use them on the Chromebook, which comes with inbuilt security features that can protect the system against malware and virus attacks.
The C7 Chromebook is powered by an Intel Celeron 847 1.1 GHz processor and 2 GB of RAM. The device also features 320 GB of hard disk space. It has three USB 2.0 ports as well as an HDMI port. What’s more, it’s even got an inbuilt card reader, quite like a regular laptop.
