Google had already started the process of shutting down Google Play Music last year. Now, the tech giant has started sending out warning via emails regarding the Google Play Music deletion. It has already requested users to transfer data to YouTube Music before it gets too late.
The email alert being sent out by Google to all Google Play Music Users states, “On February 24, 2021, we will delete all of your Google Play Music data. This includes your music library with any uploads, purchases and anything you’ve added from Google Play Music. After this date, there will be no way to recover it.”

This data includes the music library with uploads, purchases, and anything that has been purchased from Google Play Music.
Google has decided to extend the deadline till February 24 after which it will proceed with Google Play Music deletion.
