With delays in the release of One Plus Nord and Google Pixel 4a; we have all missed some good competition from Android alternatives to the iPhone SE 2020. But, finally after the Nord launch, Google Pixel 4a is also set to launch on August 3.
The better news after many delays is that the two smartphones are bringing some incredible premium features to the mid-range segment. With so many similar features, the two handsets are expected to compete with each other to garner Android buyers. Thus, we have brought you a quick comparison between the two smartphones to help your buying design.
Google Pixel 4a vs OnePlus Nord
OnePlus Nord sports a metal-and-glass design while Pixel 4a will offer an all-polycarbonate design. Moreover, 4a will offer 5.81” OLED display while Nord offers 6.44” Fluid AMOLED display. But, in a major comparative disadvantage to OnePlus, Google will offer the 3.5 mm audio jack in its new phone while OnePlus won’t.
In terms of major specs, Pixel 4a features the Snapdragon 730G processor and packs 3080 mAh battery. On the other hand, Pixel will be powered by Snapdragon765G chipset and packs 4100 mAh battery.
Notably, both phones offer many similar features as well. For instance, storage configurations for both 4a and Nord are 6GB RAM and 64GB internal memory. Additionally, you’ll also get the same five sensors in either of the phones including proximity sensor, compass, gyroscope and accelerometer.
But, among the few differences, one would definitely be cameras. Pixel 4a has opted for dual rear camera setup and a solo front camera. It offers a primary camera of 12.2-megapixel and another 8-megapixel camera at the back. Moreover, the phone simply features an 8-megapixel camera for selfies. However, despite fewer sensors, we have great hopes from the Pixel 4a after seeing the incredible camera and mobile photography on earlier Pixel 3a.
On the other hand, OnePlus Nord packs a quad rear camera setup and a dual selfie camera. The front camera setup includes two cameras 32- and 8-megapixels.
