It is increasingly becoming clearer that the Google Nexus 6 release date is not going to happen in 2014. In fact, it is being suggested that the company has dropped plans to release Nexus 6 completely. It is likely to be launched as a real powerhouse and the smartphone is expected to position itself as one of the most powerful Android handsets available in the market. It is expected to be equipped with top-notch specifications and features. LG G3 smartphone is expected to have Qualcomm’s latest quad-core mobile processor as well as a high screen resolution. The smartphone is also assumed to be having a screen size of 5.5 inches apart from a Quad HD (QHD) resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It would be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor under the hood, clocked at 2.5GHz and paired with a hefty 3GB of RAM. The smartphone would also sport a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter.

Meanwhile, the Moto X+1 would be another option to look out for. The smartphone is likely to have a quad-core Snapdragon chip along with a 5-inch screen size in 1080p resolution and a 13MP main shooter. It is expected to be powered by Android 4.5. The smartphone would be releasing in September or October 2014 and would be priced at not more than USD400.
