Looks like the world can’t wait to see what new offerings Google has lined up for us. Just a few more hours to go until Google’s official announcement, but images of the Nexus 4, rumored to be unveiled tomorrow, have surfaced yet again on the internet. Google is expected to make an announcement about the new LG Nexus 4 smartphone during their October 29 event, which unfortunately had to be canceled due to Hurricane Sandy hitting the US East Coast.
The Nexus 4 sports a 4.7-inch LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 1280X768 pixels, and is powered by a 1.5GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. As of now, what we’re hearing is that this phone will come with only 8GB of internal storage space and no card slots for memory expansion. If this is true, then could this be one of the only downers in this beautiful device.
The phone is expected to have 2G as well as 3G connectivity, in addition to WiFi, Bluetooth and even NFC connectivity options. 4G, however, is not an option on the Nexus 4. You can expect the phone to have at least an 8MP rear camera as well as a front facing camera – its resolution, however, is not known as yet. While there are rumors that this phone could run on Android 4.2, we believe it probably would feature Android 4.1.2 or the Jelly Bean version.
