The mystery of Google Nexus 10 2 is still around, with no official date of the tablet release announced by Google Inc. Nexus 10 2, which is supposedly an iPad Air Killer as predicted by Gadget Gurus, has no signs of arrival any sooner though. At least in this year, it may not come, with the tech giant focusing its attention on the 8-inch tablet, Google Nexus 8.
7-inch Google Nexus 7 tablet offered great competition to the iPad, and attracted eyes of people all around the globe. With Apple’s new creation – iPad mini – that released late 2012, Apple aficionados had finally a new version of mini iPad, with great loaded features. No doubt it reached to the world in large numbers. The iPad world was re-defined and Apple rivals had a new iOS compact device to compete against. The original iPad took a backseat, but still held its firm grip in the market, winning over competitors’ 9.7-inch tablet versions.
According to reports, Google Inc plans to reset its tablet business model. Google Nexus 10 2 may arrive early next year, with Google Nexus 8 probably on the agenda of the company. No details of specifications regarding Nexus 8, but if some reports are to be believed, the tablet may be better than the recently released LG G pad.
Not only Google, other brands such as Lenovo and Acer are also releasing mini tablet versions, to go one on one against the iPad mini of Apple. It remains to be seen how fierce this rivalry will be. Not as fierce as Samsung v/s Apple some may say. Samsung Galaxy Tab Series and Galaxy Tab 3 family has been doing tremendously well, especially Galaxy Note 8.0 with its S Pen feature that is yet to be introduced in Apple Tablets.
