Going up Against the BlackBerry Z10: Samsung to Unveil Enterprise Platform at MWC?

And we thought BlackBerry’s woes ended with releasing their latest OS, the BlackBerry 10. The company is desperately trying to hold on to its losing share of corporate and individual customers, and may just have tougher times ahead. Investment house Detwiler Fenton claims that Samsung is probably about to launch a new platform targeted exclusively at the enterprise – BlackBerry’s key strength.

We still don’t know much about this latest platform from Samsung, but we are expecting it to be related to its SAFE (Samsung for Enterprise) initiative, which aims to make devices secure enough for use at an enterprise level. Detwiler Fenton has also mentioned how Samsung’s SAFE makes Android offer best in class security and is directly aimed at pulling away significant market share from BlackBerry.

Given that Samsung is already the leader in the smartphone market, if the enterprise platform does get rolled out, we know for a fact that it will be quite well received among companies and corporate employees worldwide. BlackBerry, brace yourself.
