For those who are using the Sony Xperia T, the phone maker has decided to give you an upgrade before the year end. Therefore, users of the Xperia T globally will not be able to upgrade to the Android 4.1.2. This was reported on Vietnamese site SonyViet. The website reports that there could now be 7 homescreens instead of 5 for your Xperia T. It could also have a new Lock Screen.
While the update is available for some users currently, it will be available for everyone over the coming weeks. The company had earlier announced that it would be making the Jelly Bean update to Xperia T, Xperia TX and Xperia V in February or March 2013. Therefore, the update come early and it is likely to be a welcome update for users of the phones.
The company had earlier announced that Sony Xperia P, Sony Xperia J, Sony Xperia go would also receive Android 4.1 upgrade after March.
