It was a silent arrival, but there is a limited number of Samsung’s Galaxy S3 Mini smartphones in an unlocked form available on Amazon. Even if the phone hasn’t managed to find any specific wireless carrier in the U.S. for tie-ups, you can still pick up an unlocked version of this phone for your use.

The unlocked Galaxy S3 Mini is priced at $409.95 on the website and can support both T-Mobile USA and AT&T networks. It runs on Android Jelly Bean and has a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, a 1 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage capacity. The phone also features a 5 MP rear camera, NFC, a microSD card slot, as well as a 1500 mAh battery.

The bad news is that the Galaxy S3 Mini doesn’t have 4G connectivity, but can work on 3G networks. However, users will not be able to use the faster HSPA+ networks on T-Mobile because of the phone’s frequency differences, just like with the unlocked iPhone. We’re not sure how many models were put on sale, but there were very few models remaining by the time we got a look at the phone on Amazon’s site.
