26th June is the date set to welcome the launch of Ford Ecosport that’s a sub 4-metre SUV. Priced in between Rs. 7-10 lakhs, the Ecosport will hit the road with three choices of engines including 1.0-litre Ecosport, 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine.
With a ground clearance of 200mm, the Ecosport gets 3% less duty on the SUV. Enhancing the localization by 80-85%, Ford has designed its upcoming Ecosport with various innovative features such as keyless entry, push start and stop and reverse parking sensors. The top version of the SUV even gets Bluetooth connectivity to let users easily stream music and use telephone.
Ford has designed the 1.5-litre petrol Ecosport in automatic as well as manual versions. Truly a class apart technology in this price range, the automatic version will be the six-speed dual clutch transmission.
The Ford Ecosport looks impressive and marks to be the first Indian car that will be rolled out with SYNC.
Keep your eyes fixed for the 26th June, when Ford Ecosport will finally run on the road after taking around one and a half years to be designed.
