How about a July 11 launch for Google’s second generation nexus 7? Well that is what suggested by the recent leaks and FCC appearances that Google is soon to follow Motorola who is reportedly launching Moto X phone on July 11. According to the reports f IBTimes, Google would take the stage to introduce its new iPad killer-the powerful and affordable Nexus 7 on July 11.
However, CNET’s sources have contradicted the July 11 release for the Moto X phone and further disclosed that Motorola has been planning for some other secrets to be revealed at the same press event. Meanwhile, an ASUS employee leaked the specs of Nexus 7 and confirmed that it would tout a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon Pro processor clocked at 1.5GHz.
What’s more, he further hinted that Google is also expected to introduce a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera in the second-gen Nexus 7 tablet, a feature that is notably absent in the current Nexus 7. If this source is to be believed then the launch of Google Nexus 7 would be not possible before July end. The company may introduce the same on July 11 followed by a proper launch at the end if the month.
