Dell Launches New Devices: Convertible, Tablet, and Ultrabook

Post the launch of Windows 8, hardware partners have begun to bring out new devices that can run on the OS. Dell has unveiled its offerings: Dell XPS 12 convertible, Latitude 6430u Ultrabook, OptiPlex 9010 touch-enabled All-in-One, and S2340T Win8 multi-touch monitor. It’s all about making the best use of Windows 8 and getting the best experience out of this latest version of Windows.

With these new devices, Dell aims to reduce customers’ hassles of carrying multiple devices. The devices come pre-installed with enterprise-ready features that let employees use their own devices at work, with the added benefit of security and manageability. Designed to balance user preferences, productivity, and IT control, and also benefit from Dell’s experienced customer service to enable organizations to implement BYOD (bring your own device) programs among their workforce.

Dell XPS 12 Convertible: An extremely portable laptop, it comes with a flip hinge touchscreen display that can even double up as a laptop. The screen has full HD display capabilities and the device is made of aluminum, carbon fiber and Corning Glass for a tough yet light finish. It starts at Rs 90,490 for the base version.

Latitude 10 Tablet: This 10-inch tablet is compatible with all Windows applications that have touch-enabled controls, and full multimedia features. It can easily plug into existing management consoles, comes with a swappable battery, and also has advanced security features such as Dell Data Protection | Encryption capabilities. It has a starting price of Rs 42,490.

Latitude 6430u: This 14-inch Ultrabook is 33% thinner and 16% lighter than the existing range of Latitude notebooks. The device also has a long battery life, letting you do more work on a single charge with convenience. It will set you back by Rs 69,990.

Dell OptiPlex 9010 All-in-One: This ultra-sleek AIO offers a multi-point touchscreen on an articulating stand, and comes with a fixed or rotating camera options, making it the ideal system to have on your office tabletop. The AIO range is priced starting from Rs 49,990.
