Corsair Hydro XC5 Full Specifications
Moving on with the new Corsair Hydro XC5 CPU water block, it can essentially be called an even more budget-friendly Corsair XC7. The new XC5 block comes powered with the Intel LGA 115x/1200 paired with the AMD AM4 CPU sockets.
Corsair said in its XC5 product description, “The CORSAIR Hydro X Series XC5 RGB CPU Water Block combines premium construction, vivid RGB lighting, and extreme cooling performance to become the centerpiece of your custom cooling loop.”
As the site suggests, the leading computer component manufacturer is also experimenting with the design to offer you a black nylon top with a patterned cutout for RGB lighting. For the old fans, new RGB design will be replacing the earlier transparent top.
The new Corsair CPU water block will feature 16 RGB LEDs in 8 lighting zones, making it two LEDs in each zone rather than the fully addressable LEDs. Moreover, the affordable Corsair Hydro Series XC5 model will also allow users, full customization for its eight water blocks sections via the iCUE software.
Additionally, XC5 CPU water block also replaces the nickel-plated copper cold plate with passivated copper. The copper cold plate along with a combination of over 60 high-efficiency micro-cooling fins efficiently draws heat away from the CPU. Thereby, it helps you to unleash your processor’s full potential and enable maximum clock speeds by lowering operating temperatures.
