If you are an Andoid smartphone user and looking forward to feel the difference with the all new Kitkat OS, you should be aware that till now, only a few models have been allowed for an update. That surely makes the 4.4.2 Android update among the most anticipated ones.

Though till date some of the handsets have been listed for an Android 4.2.2 update yet some may still be delayed for a while. There is even a possibility that some may even cancel the update.

Whereas the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S4 are revealed to get the Android 4.4 Kitkat update, the older versions, the Samsung Galaxy S3 as well as the Note 2 may see a delay in the updating process or there is quite a possibility of a cancellation too.

It has been reported by some, who follow the changes closely that in spite of the actual plans of including both the devices in the list of those expecting an update on Android 4.4 Kitkat there may be some issues that could lead to changes in the plan. Finally the changes may even go ahead to see a cancellation of the update for both the gadgets.

The announcement was made originally by Samsung, Saudi Arabia; it was initially a delay which slotted the update for March. It was however altered to a cancellation later on.

In the mean time there has been no announcements heard from Samsung regarding anything that concerns either the handsets or the update to Android 4.4 Kitkat. So, we can say that nothing is in the open as yet.

The Moto X owners would be happy to know that Motorola has made it official via its website that Mote X will have the Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS update.

There is some enrichment that users of Moto X will see after the final upgrade. It will include supporting the user for printing photos, an enhanced battery life and a solution for fixing an email syncing bug.
