Blackberry 10 is all set to get launched by the end of this month. To revive its lost position in the smartphone market, Blackberry 10 is the last hope for Canada –based Research in Motion. A Senior Executive from RIM has let the cat out of the bag according to him the device would be released in various variants which would be catering to high, middle and lower end price points of the market.
As per RIM CMO Frank Boulben,6 Blackberry 10 devices would hit the market in 2013 featuring an all-touch device and a phone with a QWERTY keyboard.
In an interview with Fierce Wireless at the Consumer Electronics Show 2013, Boulben stated that the company “does not have any exclusive relationships with carriers for BB10 in any markets”. He went on to add, “We intend over time as we transition the portfolio to have a full range of devices.”
