Call of Duty: Ghosts happens to be the latest one in the lineup of the much popular Call of Duty first –person shooter game series. Call of Duty: Ghosts is conceived by Infinity Ward and Activision will be publishing. This will be the first ever Call of Duty game which Infinity Ward will be developing after they had last developed Modern Warfare 3 in the year 2011.
Call of Duty: Ghosts series comes with a promise of strengthening the Call of Duty franchise. Thus, en entirely new sub-brand will be created which will comprise of a new and innovative gaming engine and new experiences and ideas will also be introduced to the gaming series. Call of Duty: Ghosts are being developed for Xbox 360, Playstation3, Playstation4, U, Wii and even for the Xbox One. It will be likely be released on 5th November 2013.
Story
Call of Duty: Ghosts game series is set against the backdrop of a devastating global event that is set to shift the power balance completely in the world. The most notable part is that United States does not remain a global power anymore. In fact, it ceases to be a superpower altogether.
Whatever is left with the US special forces will merge to establish an elite team known as ‘Ghosts’. These ghosts will be attempting to combat the rise of militarily and technologically advanced enemies who are eyeing to destroy everything that remains with the United State.
The Xbox One launch is to be held in a few days from now and the countdown has already begun. Even the PlayStation 4 will be launched around the same time. With the launch of two new gaming consoles, the big launch of Call of Duty: Ghosts is bound to steal the limelight. It is also reported that buyers of Sony’s and Microsoft’s new hardware will be introduced to an altogether new and surreal gaming experience, something which they have not experienced in the past. Infinity Ward’s executive producer, Mark Rubin has stated that only the PS4 version supporting Call of Duty: Ghosts will be running in 1080p. Xbox One users will have to suffice with 720p.
