The Moto G is considered as the best-selling smartphone of Motorola having good features and specifications with a very affordable price tag. The smartphone has managed to gain enough success worldwide, especially in India, and it is often being referred to as the best budget smartphone.

The company now wants to capitalize on the success of Moto G, and it has launched an updated and more attractive version. Motorola has started taking pre-orders for the upgraded 4G version.

The regular Moto G is available in the options of 8GB and 16GB internal storage, but the 4G version only has 8GB of built-in storage. It is not yet clear that how much additional storage it will support, but it is expected that at least 32GB will be given.

The upgraded version of Moto G is available at a higher price range and is available at USD219 unlocked and SIM-free. But with highly required features like LTE capabilities and microSD card slot, the higher price point is justified which is USD40 more than the regular version. Moreover, buyers now have the option to buy the smartphone in white color as well.

The company website is taking pre-orders for the smartphone, and is likely to be shipped sometime between June 3 and June 6.

Moto G is a mid-range smartphone with a low-end price tag. The smartphone is available in a 4.5-inch display powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and the early Android 4.4 KitKat update. It is considered as the best budget smartphone as a result of its great build quality, excellent screen, decent camera and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
