Bridging Samsung’s Galaxy S4 Chip Divide: Rumors Suggest It’s Qualcomm Not Octo-Core

Barely 10 days to go until Samsung unveils its latest, highly anticipated flagship, the Galaxy S4. But looks like the world just can’t wait until the official launch; rumors about this gorgeous device continue pouring in from all over the world. The latest we’ve heard is that it could be powered by a Qualcomm chip instead of Samsung’s brand new octo-core Exynos processor.

We’ve also had a glance at the Antutu benchmark results for the Galaxy S4 as its images have surfaced on the net. From the results, we can see that in all likelihood, the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be powered by a 1.8 GHz Exynos 5410 processor with 4+4 cores and 2 GB of RAM. The phone appears to be running on Android 4.2 and looks like Samsung’s making just one piece for the whole world, going by its numerous connectivity options – GSM, WCDMA, LTE networks.

The phone also has a 13 MP rear camera and a 2.1 MP front-facing camera.  We can expect internal storage of at least 16 GB and possibly even a 64 GB model. Its 4.99-inch screen is expected to have a resolution of 1920X1080 pixels.
