Even though RIM has not yet officially launched the BlackBerry 10 OS or the devices running it, there are enough rumors over the internet about it. A recent video shows a side by side comparison of what looks like the BlackBerry Z10 against the iPhone 5. The Z10 has a 4.2-inch display with a resolution of 356 ppi, as opposed to the iPhone 5’s 4-inch screen with a 326 ppi resolution.
Another interesting advantage is the BlackBerry Z10’s 1800 mAh removable battery, while the iPhone 5 has just a 1440 mAh battery which can’t be removed. The Z10 also has a micros card slot, which is a huge bonus for those who require a lot of storage space.
While Apple has got Siri, RIM has also put in a new BlackBerry Voice feature that lets users dictate commands, texts, e-mails, etc. to the phone. In the video, we also get to see how users can preview any incoming SMS’s while running an app without any interruption. What’s even more interesting is that the browser on board the Z10 loaded pages much faster than that of the iPhone 5’s Safari browser.
With the BlackBerry 10, it’s all about multitasking as the BlackBerry Balance features lets users keep work apps separate from the personal apps on the same device. This makes for improved security, and this is a feature lacking on the iPhone 5. But is all of this enough for RIM to win back its customers?
