ASUS has finally announced the launch of its much-awaited smartwatch ASUS ZenWatch, which is powered by Android. The company has also announced its Intel-powered Android tablet dubbed as the MeMO Pad 7 as well as EeeBook X205.

The ZenWatch is among the most attractive devices by the Taiwanese electronics manufacturer, and its feartures and specifications are at par with the Samsung’s earlier Gear Live.

The smartwatch is equipped with a 1.63 inch AMOLED display having a pixel resolution of 320 x 320. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor as well as sports 4 GB of ROM and 512 MB of RAM, similar to the hardware specifications of the Nokia Lumia 530 smartphone.

Meanwhile, its MeMo Pad 7 will be powered by Android KitKat and will be commercially available in both the WiFi and LTE versions.

The tablet will be having a 7 inch IPS display with Full HD resolution. It will be powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z 3560 processor at the heart clocked at 1.83 GHz. It will also feature 2 GB of RAM, while it will be available with 16 and 32 GB storage options along with a micro SD card slot for external storage option.

The tablet’s body is made up of duralumin and fibreglass with the use of different materials to cover different areas. The ASUS ZenWatch would be available at a price tag of nearly EUR199, while the MeMo Pad will carry a price tag of EUR200.
